Bolier Installation, Repair & Servicing

Boiler Installation, Repair & Servicing

We specialise in the installation of condensing Boiler using the latest technology available.

Having installed thousands of Boilers we can confidently give advice on which type of Boiler best suits your needs and size of property. As well as providing the most cost-efficient heating solution for your home. There are three different types of Condensing Boilers (see below)

Combi Boilers

A combi Boiler is both a high efficiency water heater and a central heating boiler combined (hence the name) within a compact space-saving unit.

Further benefits include significant savings on your annual heating bills and the fact that hot water is delivered through your taps and showers at mains pressure, you can enjoy powerful showers within the need for a pump.

Regular Boilers

Regular Boilers (also known as ‘conventional boilers’) heat your central heating system directly and produce hot water for your cylinder.

A typical regular boiler system incorporates a boiler, extended controls, a hot water cylinder which is often fed by a cold-water storage cistern located in the Loft and feed and expansion tank.

System Boilers

A system boiler heats your central heating system directly and produces hot water for your cylinder.

A system boiler just like a regular boiler works on the same principle of stored hot water, however a system boiler differs from a regular boiler in some important respects. Firstly, many of the major individual components of the heating and hot water system are built into the system boiler, which means that installation is quicker, neater and more efficient. Secondly, the hot water is pumped from the system boiler through the heating system to the radiators and hot water cylinder, resulting in a fast response and more economical running costs. The system boiler removes the need for a feed and expansion tank.

Condensing Boilers

All new gas boilers since 2005 are condensing boilers. Condensing boilers use heat from exhaust gases that would normally be replaced into the atmosphere through the flue.

To use this latent heat, the water vapour from the exhaust gas is turned into liquid condensate. To make the most of the latent heat within the condensate, condensing boilers use a larger heat exchanger. Due to this process a condensing boiler can extract more heat from the fuel it uses than a standard efficiency boiler. Less heat is also lost through the flue gases.

Boiler Servicing

We service all types of Gas and LPG Boilers. Gas Safe recommends that your boiler is serviced annually to ensure it is working safely and efficiently as possible.

These checks are vital for the safe and reliable performance of your boiler and can give insight to future problems before they occur. Boiler servicing is essential to maintain and validate any manufacturers warranties too.

We issue Gas Safety Certificates and send out annual service reminders by email, text or post, so you’ll never forget to keep your family Gas Safe!
